I had an Extra Comfort seat and it was great. Kind staff, comfy seat, and I was lucky to have a row to myself. Would definitely fly Hawaiian Airlines again.

Flew BOS-HNL about 11 hours. Overall seat comfort was good, however, there are a lot strange quirks about Hawaiian FC. There is an odd placed foot rest with FC asile seats that make it cumbersome to get in and out. For inflight entertainment, FAs pass out large iPads that fit into a rig that doesn't move, so getting in/out of the seat that that set up is awkward. Lots of cords as they have to plug it in plus headset, just seemed messy to me. I guess I expected something like international food service on this flight - it was not - very basic small portions. The crew was good, but made little effort asking if we wanted drinks/snacks after the food service - had to get up and ask - then they waited on you. It's a strange first class product. I flew back in 18B in Comfort Economy and TBH I thought it was a better experience than first. 18B was a comfortable seat and I had no issues feeling comfortable for 10 hours. FC on Hawaiian from BOS-HNL is not worth the 2K fare I paid so I'd recommend doing Comfort economy, just bring some snacks and drink as the food service in economy is aligned with the mediocre FC service.

Great seat, very comfy in upright and reclined positions. Plenty of room. Flight attendants were very attentive and sweet. During the flight they had the curtain closed and seemed very quiet, so I wasn't bothered by any noise or aisle traffic. Thankfully I had a thick sweater with me but I was surprised at the low quality of the soft goods. The 'blanket' provided was barely thicker than a sheet and the pillow very flimsy. I was expecting better for a first class product and based on their website photos.

Seats have a mini plug receptacle for earphones with a jack for a mini plug on the front of the armrest. I had to ask a flight attendant where this was. With seat fully reclined, I could stretch out flat (in a straight line, not horizontal) with feet under the seat in front of me. That wouldn't work if you have a bulky item you need to store under the seat in front of you.

The centre row C/D seats have less room because of the bulkhead in front of 1C/D. As a 5'11" person I could feel both ends of the seat when fully flat. The window seats A/B and H/J have about 8" more room, and I was fine when fully reclined. Though the foot rest on is narrow, and you're in danger of falling off it in the window seats, because of the extra 8" gap.

I found the value for money extremely good. No Champagne but Mai Tai´s. Staff very good. Perfect beginning and end to an Hawaiian vacation. Found the seats very comfy, just a bit odd for privacy when flying solo.

Hawaiians business class wasn't as great as I was hoping it would be. I wish the foot/leg rest and backrest had independent controls, there is only a turn wheel in the armrest that operates both in unison. The angled seats aren't great and the large tablet for entertainment is good in theory, but its not connected to when the flight attendant or pilot make announcements and when you have a window seat your almost boxed in by it as the swivel arm only swivels about 15 degrees out.Its a shame because Hawaiian do so many things so brilliantly. I wanted it to be great but it just fell short :(

This seat has narrow armrests, so you fight with your neighbor for arm position. Also, no air adjustment. After 2 hours my bottom hurt from the thinly padded seats. Be sure to bring a seat pad. Leg room is good for 6'2". Barely wide enough for a normal sized person.

My friend who sat next to me was ill and vomited. The hostesseswere not helpful, expected her to do all the cleaning, gave her a packet of coffee beans but didn't tell her what to do with them and did not provide enough towels for the cleanup. She was not provided with sick bags.

My wife and I have flown the Hawaiian A330 both in First Class and premium economy (Comfort) and are hooked. The lie-flat seats in First Class are quite nice and have a unique look. Very pleasant service by the flight attendants, decent food served with complimentary Mai Tais, and an ok selection of movies and TV shows (download from Netflix before flying!) All in all, we have abandoned United from LAX to Hawaii, particularly when flying on this plane to and from Honolulu. We are trying the A321neo in November to Lihue and will report afterwards....

Seat 11J is actually a very nice seat. Seats 11J and 11H are in a private section of the plane – sectioned off from the business class area and from the stewardess platform behind. There are twelve seats in total in this section (two middle rows of four seats, as well as a row of two seats on the left and right side of the plane). 11J is a nice private seat with no disturbance from ANY passengers, there are no other seats around (apart from your neighbour in 11H). Quite delightful actually. The bulkhead is not a problem at all except that you are looking at a wall with a master TV screen, but you have your own pull out TV from under the seat. There are two windows giving a lot of light and it’s easy to gaze out the nearer window from the seat. The seat DOES RECLINE (as do seats 11C, 11A, 11B). There was a lot of leg room: I could rest my feet flat against the wall with my legs straight (I’m 167cm) and I could exit my seat without disturbing the rather large passenger next to me (with a little agility). The toilet behind the seat is actually quite far removed in a whole different section so I could not hear it at all, and there is an area behind the seat section for people waiting to use the toilet, so the toilet was in no way disturbing to seat 11J. The crew platform behind this section of the plane could be potentially disturbing from staff chatting loudly, but this was really not a problem for me, and actually more of a convenience because they attended to my calls very quickly and we got served first for food! The only issue with 11J is that you cannot keep your bag on the floor, and you have to store in it the overhead, and there is limited space in the overheads for this section of the plane. Again – not a problem at all in my case. I would choose seat 11J or 11A again.

The only U.S. airline with free meal service on domestic flights, and decent legroom when behind the First Class Cabin. Nice recline and service.

12G Bostin to Hawaii*bad- The safety belts were old faded and frayed as were the "extra comfort" seats they had certainly seen better days for such a long haul flight. The jetfuel odour was overwhelming and there is no air vent in 12G. Seat does not recline*good- service was wonderful loads of leg room but non reclining seats on a long haul flight?? Who would do that to their customers that are paying for this. 12G should not be a premium seat.

Best coach airline seat I've had in a long time. The seat was a little narrow, but reclined further than I've ever seen a coach seat. I'm 6 foot tall and had plenty of legroom. Made the 6 hour flight from Hawaii comfortable. There was USB power at our seat, but no 110V. The seats all had built in TV screens to be used. The flight also came with meal service, a very nice thing to have on a flight that left in the afternoon. The plane was also surprisingly quiet, better than expected being behind the engines.Hawaiian earned me as a future customer for their great service.

Extra comfort If you need legroom definitely plenty more plus board early. Chair same as others. Board second and leave first. Close to beginning of meal service and lavatory. Worth another $100? Probably not unless the meal service was slightly better quality to make up for cost.

These seats are terrible. We've flown these exact seats a few years ago, before they installed a wall from the ceiling to the floor between first class and these seats. There is limited legroom now. If you are over 5' 10" tall you will be pressing your feet onto the wall for a long-haul flight, unable to stretch out. The seats are stiff and uncomfortable too. Don't know why they are called "Extra Comfort" seats.

This is the most uncomfortable airline seat i have ever sat in. Before Hawaiian airlines changed to the A 330 they flew the Boing 767 on this route and it was much more comfortable. Ive flown Hawaiian every year for the last 18 years because of the comforable seats. I will loook at other airlines.

Good seats to have. Found the extra leg room great and they also had a good recline as well. The only issue to me is you can see first class from here...

1/17/2019, sitz 28B

I'm not sure if it was just my specific seat but I found the cushions to be slightly uncomfortable. Legroom seemed pretty tight for a seat with 31" pitch, and it only got worse if the passenger in front of you reclines. I would definitely recommend paying up for an Extra Comfort seat if you're over 6' tall.

(to add to my previous negative comment). The proximity to the lavatory means every few minutes a loud banging of the lavatory door and loud talking among people gathering in that area.
