Evolutionary Improvements Boost the User Experience

The 10.3” infotainment head unit (IHU) in the 2024 PROTON X50 has been upgraded with a new dual quad-core processor unit providing faster bootup speed and loading time. This allows seamless operation of multiple apps concurrently in the foreground and in the background without any risk of intermittent response. The 2024 PROTON X50 delivers the ideal combination of safety and convenience with a new High-Definition 360 Camera, which displays crystal clear images even in low light conditions, making parking a breeze. Should the driver still feel uneasy, there is the Auto Park Assist function to complete the task. When operating the signal stalks, a 3D view of the surroundings will appear to reduce blind spots for safer lane change maneuvers and this safety feature is functional up to 150 km/h.

Powerful Acceleration With Outstanding Safety

At the heart of the 2024 PROTON X50 is the 1.5 litre turbocharged direct injection engine with an output of 177 PS of power and 255Nm of torque, paired to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The combination enables this SUV to achieve a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of only 7.9 seconds.
